Nefertiti, Perhaps Egypt’s Most Beautiful Queen

A work known worldwide, became an archetype of feminine beauty.

The bust of Nefertiti is a painted limestone sculpture of the fourteenth century BC. BC, representing Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty, Akhenaten.

The sculptor Thutmose supposed to work, the bust was discovered December 6, 1912 at Tell el-Amarna by a German archaeological team led by Ludwig Borchardt and since made the subject of an application by a constant Egypt to Germany. He is currently visible at the Neues Museum in Berlin.
